LOL is an upcoming Comedy French movie. It is directed by Lisa Azuelos and starring Sophie Marceau, Christa Theret, and Jérémy Kapone. And Written by Azuelos and Delgado Nans.LOL is also known as Laughing Out Loud.

Movie is based upon a teenage girl whose life is split between her studies in a prestigious Parisian high school, her secret diary, her friends, boyfriends, her divorced parents, drugs, and sexuality. LOL is a remake of the 2008 French film of the same name.

The movie has been criticized negatively because of the reasons aforementioned a lot of times, however, and this article is not going to bash the movie any further. Movie Review (Synopsis):

-˜LOL,' a teenage coming of age story starring Miley Cyrus whose character struggles with love, freedom, and growing up. Demi Moore plays her mother, who tries to prevent her rebellious party daughter from ruining her life (as moms do). This isn't heavy stuff, just a fluffy teenage dramedy (with lines like, -œIt's so good to love someone so much it hurts- and -œI hate her. Look at her - even her underwear is skankville.- Clearly the film is targeted to the girls that followed Cyrus as Hannah Montana.

"LOL" marks the first PG-13 film for Cyrus, 19, who has previously found some success in more kid-friendly fare. A documentary following the pop star on her Hannah Montana concert tour grossed a solid $65.3 million in 2008, and "Hannah Montana: The Movie" performed even better the next year, collecting $79.6 million. The 2010 tear-jerker "The Last Song," based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, generated a respectable $63 million.

For love, she will go on daring adventures (like traveling to Paris with her friends, without telling her mom), which will, as expected, get her mom very upset because she feels she's neglecting her education.
